Care Guide

How To Care:

Our Pet ID Tags

Both resin and polymer clay are durable and waterproof and can be cleaned with mild soap in cold to warm water. It can also be dried with a soft cloth as needed.

However, please remember our tags are NOT CHEW-PROOF NOR SCRATCH-PROOF. Once the tag is in your possession, it is then your responsibility to properly care for it. We will not be held responsible for any harm caused by the indigestion of the tag materials.

For the tags with gold or bronze metal rims, the colour of the metal may tarnish over time if they are not cared for properly. We don't recommend dipping them in saltwater as the colour may tarnish quicker.

We handcraft each tag carefully and are confident in its durability. However, if you have any issues with the tag, please contact us.

Polymer clay is easy to care for and is sturdy for the most part. If you get them dirty, you can wipe them clean with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures. It's okay to use acetone or nail polish remover with a Q-tip to rub away any stubborn dirt or to get fingerprints off of resin.

Stainless steel will naturally tarnish slightly over time from being exposed to water, oils, etc. To help prevent tarnish, keep metal dry, avoid excessive handling, and store in a dry, room-temperature location. To clean the tarnish, wipe with a cloth gently, and apply pressure and it will be restored to its natural shine. Pieces may also be scrubbed clean with warm soapy water. Rinse and pat dry thoroughly.
