Both resin and polymer clay are durable and waterproof. Tags can be cleaned using mild soap and cold to warm water, then dried with a soft cloth as needed. For detailed areas or textured designs, you may also use a soft toothbrush to gently clean the tag.

Please note that our tags are NOT chew-proof or scratch-proof. Once the tag is in your possession, proper care and supervision are the responsibility of the owner. We are not responsible for any harm caused by the ingestion of tag materials. If your furry friend is prone to chewing, or if there is any possibility of chewing, we recommend adjusting their collar and ring so it is worn shorter and snugger, preventing them from being able to reach the tag.

For tags with gold or bronze metal rims, the metal finish may tarnish over time if not cared for properly. We do not recommend dipping these tags in saltwater, as this may cause the colour to tarnish more quickly.

Each tag is handcrafted with care, and we are confident in its durability. However, if you experience any issues with your tag, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help.

Polymer clay jewelry is easy to care for and generally very sturdy. If pieces become dirty, gently clean with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures.

Stainless steel may naturally tarnish slightly over time due to exposure to water, oils, and daily wear. To help prevent tarnishing:

  • Keep metal dry when possible

  • Avoid excessive handling

  • Store in a dry, room-temperature location

To clean, gently wipe with a cloth and apply light pressure to restore shine. Pieces may also be cleaned with warm soapy water, then rinsed and pat dry thoroughly.
